why should I be a trash moon collective member?
We often make decisions at Trash Moon that are community and not financially driven. Memberships give us the buffer to continue to put the community first while keeping the business viable. We have two tiers of memberships - Community and Patron - that are for anyone in our community, whether you're a dancer, singer, picker, grinner, organizer, music lover, basement shredder, or pro.
Is it just for musicians?
Nope. Maybe you want to host a community potluck and advertise it through the 'Moon. Maybe you want your business to be listed as a community sponsor on our site. Maybe you just want to know that your monthly subscription makes sure that your coveted Woodbine Jam keeps happening each week for eternity.
Why are There two memberships?
We wanted to give our community the option to give more to the 'Moon if they wanted, while giving them some extra bennies in return. We know some of y'all really love what we do and want to be a Patron.
What's the difference between the two membership tiers?
Community Member and Community Patron Members share a majority of the same bennies. You get your Shwag, 10% off TMC Merchandise, one Free Tier 1 Ad Space every month, ability to be hosted on our site as a teacher, band, or business, and opportunity to be booked by Trash Moon Collective. Patron members receive 2 more Trash Coins for free workshops and house concerts and get a free Trash Moon Fiddle Tunes Book.
Do patron members get booked more?
Neither the Community nor Patron memberships guarantee Trash Moon Collective booking services. We will prioritize Members for our regular events - monthly Honky Tonk, monthly square dance, Wednesday Woodbine Jam Leader, Seasonal House Concerts, and Gracie's - but your membership does not guarantee booking services. Nor do you have to be a member to be booked.
You're always welcome to Contact Us if you have questions about gigging as a musician, or if you want to throw your name into the hat for gigs.
If I'm a member, can I get help organizing an event?
We prioritize answering inquiries from our Members first. If you have a really cool event in your head that you'd like to get feedback on or help with, feel free to Contact Us! While we can't always say yes to everything, we can always add your event to our website through our Ad Services.
What's the dream for these memberships?
Our LLC allows us to be really flexible as an organization and our memberships allow us to keep our coveted mission-driven dreams alive. We want our Member Community to feel like they have access to a group of driven, like-minded, rad individuals, and always know where to find their hang.
