Some of our fondest moments as musicians are to be found sitting around a fire, singing songs we all know and love together. These impromptu jam sessions are often elevated to the next level when we can pass tunes around, trading solos, singing harmonies, and finding that deep groove as a cohesive unit.
Looking around town, we decided our SLC community could use a space that brings musicians of all levels together to play fun singalong songs in a safe, encouraging space.
Enter Sugar Space Arts, who has generously offered their space in partnership with the Trash Moon Collective to host a monthly singalong jam session. Through these monthly jams, we hope to build a repertoire of songs that our local community knows and loves to sing and play.
