Let’s demystify music theory! Learn intro to diatonic theory, whether for the first time, or to deepen your knowledge. Feel like you just don't understand why we play certain chords in a key? Want to be able to better communicate with your fellow musician friends? Want to build a music theory foundation in order to improvise on your instrument, play lead, or write songs? Have questions but afraid to ask them? Please join me for this workshop!

Make sense of chords, chord progressions, and melodies, how they connect to a key center, how to train your ear, and more.

Questions and a beginners mind are encouraged. Women, queer, and trans musician-centered, though all are welcome.
