Join the Trash Moon Collective, SLC's hub for bluegrass, old time, and folk music, as we present two high-energy bluegrass and country bands: The Pickpockets and Pompe n Honey.
The Pickpockets are pushing the roots of bluegrass into new territories. The 4-piece string band from Salt Lake City takes you into an inviting world of heartfelt lyrics, catchy melodies, and gripping solos. Using an expansive repertoire and ever-growing sound, they continue to immerse audiences in new styles, new genres, and unforgettable grooves.
Pompe n’ Honey is a tightly knit 4-piece acoustic swing band out of Salt Lake City that came together over a love of early 20th-century swing and folk music. Breaking down the wall between high-brow sophistication and raw artistic expression, they are comfort food for your ears. Drawing inspiration from artists like Django Reinhardt, Bob Wills and his Texas Playboys, Madeleine Peyroux, and Hot Club of Cowtown, Pompe…
